1. Using the service
These terms govern use of 8BIT ARENA. Use the service only if you agree. When using external services, their terms also apply.
2. Uploading and publishing characters
Upload only images and names you have the right to use and publish. Rights remain with the contributor or original rights holder. Consenting to publication makes the image, name, code, power and estimated registration country public to all users for use as opponents. You grant free permission to store, display and distribute the content as needed to provide this service.
3. Prohibited conduct
Do not infringe others’ copyright, likeness or privacy rights; post illegal, harassing or discriminatory content; access systems without authorization; falsify battle results; or overload the service. Violations may lead to content removal or restricted access.
4. Data storage and deletion
We use cookies to manage characters and store uploads, consent and battle records. Deleting cookies before login makes guest ownership unrecoverable. Characters already transferred to your account are available when you log in again. Delete in character settings after reviewing the warning; this is irreversible. Images and GIFs are removed from storage, and character data (name, owner association, consent, power and wins) and related battles from the database. The code stops working; only the issued number, unlinked to character or owner, is kept to prevent reuse. Images and GIFs already saved elsewhere cannot be recalled. Keep your own copies. 5. Service changes and liability
Features may change, and the service may be interrupted or ended. We do not guarantee error-free operation or permanent data storage. We are liable for damage attributable to the operator in accordance with applicable law.
6. Changes to these terms
Changes and their effective date will be announced on this site in advance. We will request renewed consent for changes where legally required.
